Current Vacancies

Henry Chichele Primary School wishes to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a specific child who is in lower Key Stage 2. The appointment will be for a named child contract and will therefore terminate if, or when, the child leaves the school or the provision is no longer required.

The hours of work will be 30 hours per week (08.30-12.00 and 1.00-3.30 daily) for 39 weeks (term time plus 5 training days only). There will also be the requirement to cover a daily ½ hour lunchtime duty for which a further contract will be issued for 38 weeks per year (term-time only).

Salary: NJC Scale 4 and 2 (   payable respectively and pro rata, based on the full time equivalent salary range (actual salary £13439.54 and £1028.14 total salary £14467.68

The successful candidate will first and foremost have a love for children and a desire to see every child reach their potential both academically and socially. We celebrate success and stretch children to amaze themselves at what they are able to achieve within a caring and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a range of roles; support with cognition and learning; social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) and personal care. A willingness to engage with an intimate care plan if necessary would be desirable. Our children deserve nothing less than the very best.
