School Day

The school gates will open at 8:30am every morning and all children may enter the school from this time. The latest arrival is 8.50am when the gates will close.

Our timings of the school day for each year group are as follows:

Reception: 8.50am to 3.10pm

Year 1: 8.50am to 3.15pm

Year 2: 8.50am to 3.15pm

Year 3: 8.50am to 3.25pm

Year 4: 8.50am to 3.25pm

Year 5: 8.50am to 3.30pm

Year 6: 8.50am to 3.30pm

 

All children will have a morning break and 45 minutes for lunch time. All children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 will be provided with a piece of fruit during the morning break and all Key Stage 2 children are welcome to bring in a healthy snack from home to eat during their morning break.

Late Arrivals

It is extremely important that your child arrives to school on time. Lessons begin no more than 10 minutes after their arrival time which means that being late to school will affect their ability to take part in the lesson.

If your child is going to be late for any reason, please ensure the office knows so that they can inform your child's class teacher.

Late arrivals should come into school through the main office.

PE Lessons

Physical Education is taught twice a week and children should come dressed in their PE kits on these days.

Reception:

Year 2: Tuesday

Year 3: Tuesday

Year 4: Wednesday

Year 5: Thursday

Year 6: Thursday
